well hello there bloggers(:

i totally have to give props to Jess, over at All Things Creative for being the amazing person she is. she never fails to encourage me on my photography journey as well as this little journey we all call life. she's a huge reason I keep posting, and everytime she leaves a sweet comment, it makes my day! so, i've been nominated for an award(: thanks, jess! so here it goes, 10 things about me...

1. i have an abnormally large amount of freckles and i love every single one of them.

2. i'm at my happiest when i'm thinking about the beach, talking about the beach, walking ON the beach, writing about the beach, or taking pictures of the beach.

3. i'm kind of obsessed with ron pope. anyone a fan?

4. i've lived with food allergies my entire life, so food has never been an important part of my life. but if i had to pick a favorite, i'd definitely go for some chili(:

5. i'm an ex-swimmer and currently a lacrosse player secretly wishing i was still a swimmer.

6. i WILL be going to UNC @ Chapel Hill someday. i'll do anything to make that happen.

7. rock climbing, hiking, camping, canoeing, kayaking .... i love it all. and i'll find a way to take pictures even if i'm strapped in a kayak or dangling off the side of a mountain.

8. i have a group of friends who are all so different. jack, liv, ellie, sierra, kelly, chad, quint, and james... and whether they live in scotland, pittsburgh, or right here in atlanta, they mean the world <3

9. i have this undying passion for Christ, and church is my refuge, not to mention the highlight of my week.

10. i'm devoted to guitar and currently trying to get used to life with short fingernails(:
